It was my first time in Greece and it was lovely Skiathos, recommended by my friends who know Greece. If you really want to have a good rest, it is the right place, wonderful nature, pine tree forests, beautiful mountains, very clean air, what is important no so crowdy, so far... I hope it will remain being a paradise. What is very important-very nice and cordial people, we got many new friends in Skiathos. We are happy to make friends with Maria, thank you! Everything great! About our vacation: we were in Skiathos in July 2014 with the family with our daughter. We really liked the villa: the location in the woods, beautiful air, Koukounaries Beach 15 minutes walk to the nearby beaches 30-40 minutes, many beaches at your choice, there is a good infrastructure of supermarkets and taverns within walking distance, to the city center 30 minutes by the bus, which runs every 15 minutes. Friendly staff. Attentive and welcoming Maria, who is also a very interesting personality, an artist, she decorated the villa with a great taste, there also Maria's painting in the city harbour, you will not miss it. There is a playground and some garden around the villa and my daughter got great international experience playing with kids from other countries. I recommend Villa Driades in Koukounaries, Skiathos, Greece, a very close to culturally and mentally. Have great time at Skiathos! Konstantin, Moscow, Russia.
Nuovo, arredamento bianco, bel terrazzino, giardini ed esterni curati. Vicino alle spiaggie più belle...e poi che dire di Maria? è una signora splendida e la sua un accoglienza davvero splendida. Consigliatissimo!
We really enjoyed our stay at Driades. Lovely to be based in beautiful pine forest. We walked to the beaches on the other side of the islands too, fantastic. Thank you to Maria, who collected us and gave us lots of information as well as a lovely homemade desser.
A huge hello from Dzerzhinsk City !You probably do not know about our city , but my family and I remember you very well. And I can confidently say that it was the best two weeks of the year! Your hotel has made us the most pleasant experience .We were amazed at the quality of the service , everything was delicious. Staff at the reception deserve separate words . We arrived tired and a bit nervous after a long road. We were placed in the room very quickly and it was very important at the time. I also want to thank you for a wonderful room in which we lived. My daughters were ecstatic , not to mention my wife. Thanks again for a great stay . All the best ! Best regards.
Thank you very much Maria for our unforgettable vacations on Skiathos. We've travelled a lot around island, wonderful warm sea, a lot of beatiful beaches, wild birds and hares, dolfins...Arina started to swim "as adult" . And of course, thank you for your hospitality... .Recently we try your liqueur. Its fantastic, I think its the most delicious drink I've ever tested. Its really smells as bouquet of flowers. Thank you!!! I hope, we'll visit Skiathos again.

perfect holiday for children and adults, nice garden, nice stuffs for children in the garden, nice terraces , very large and confortable rooms , very clean - thank to Yannis and Cristina, nice tree house - for kids. Close to the beach - about 8 - 10 minutes walking ( with kids ) ...and close to tavernas. Thank you Maria for your hospitality and for all information you gave us at the arrival.
A great vacation. 11/10. The accomodations were perfect. The staff was really pleasant and the owners treated us like we were family. Truly a vacation to remember. The beach, shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. The bus leading into town takes you there in 3 minutes. Our studio apartment fitted with a jacuzzi and a private garden literally makes you feel like you are within your own personal oasis. When we left we already booked for 2015. Maria and Georg, the owners, are the two most pleasant owners on the whole of Skiathos. A big hello to them from Ksenija and Emil from Switzerland.
It's a perfect place for a family with children or a few friends who know apreciating the intimacy in the middle of the forest. The reality jump over the pictures. That location assure a perfect holiday.
